Big week coming for Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists
The week of May 12th is a big one for the Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (CSEG) with several important events planned.
First comes GeoConvention, the CSEG’s premiere technical conference and trade show, where the brightest geophysical minds from Canada and abroad share their breakthroughs with a keen audience. Among the technical and social events, Absolute Imaging’s VP of Geophysics, Svetlana Bidhikova, will be chairing the session “Digital Data is Geoscience Reality” — exploring the vital role of digital transformation in our industry. Join us in the conversation and see how data is shaping the future of geoscience!
Later in the week, closing out the busy GeoConvention schedule, the CSEG celebrates a milestone year for the society, 2025 being the 75th year since its founding. The CSEG has been a part of the Canadian Oil & Gas industry since its early beginnings and Absolute Imaging is proud to sponsor the History / Milestone Museum at the upcoming 75th Diamond Jubilee Anniversary Gala. This glitzy event, themed ”Reflecting on the Past, Imagining the Future”, will take place at the BMO Centre on May 15, 2025 and will feature drinks, dining and a live band. Join us in this celebration of a foundational aspect of our industry, meet with peers and old friends, and set the stage for the next 75 years of the CSEG.
