June 2022 – Additional work awarded for CCUS in Alberta

Under the global framework agreement signed with a worldwide supermajor energy company, Absolute Imaging is executing an additional CCUS reprocessing project for them. Building upon the work announced in September 2021, Absolute Imaging will be reprocessing an additional 1260 LKM of 2D seismic in Alberta to aid in the safe, permanent geological disposal of CO2. This ongoing work for a leader in responsible energy production adds to Absolute Imaging’s growing list of projects executed with the aim of ensuring a lower-carbon future for Canada and the world. Seismic imaging is crucial for the identification, delineation and future monitoring of subsurface carbon reservoirs. Absolute Imaging has the tools and expertise to help our partners with this important aspect of environmental management.
