LMV Colombia processing project awarded to Absolute Imaging

A 3D over a structurally complex area located in the Lower Magdalena Valley Basin in Northern Colombia has been acquired and will be processed by Absolute Imaging. Amplitude-preserved Pre-Stack Time Migration (PSTM) processing will be important as AVO signatures are key to this play. Primary targets are the Oligocene-Early Miocene sands of the CDO formation with the Mid Miocene Porquero sands as the secondary targets. Absolute Imaging’s meticulous approach to this type of processing has helped this operator to achieve previous successes, which has led to repeated project awards.
