Absolute Imaging has the resources, expertise, and state-of-the-art technology to process today’s large, structurally complex data volumes.
One of the strengths of a processing centre is its’ hardware. Absolute Imaging is continually working to improve the capacity of our hardware system to meet the growing needs of our clients. We are a Linux based processing centre comprised of Supermicro and Dell HPC multi-core 66 nodes cluster rack system. Our new hardware is easily expandable supporting future industry standards and demands. This system is aimed to optimize turn-around for computationally and data demanding applications, such as 5D Interpolation, 3D PSTM, 3D PSDM and 3D SRME.
The computer systems are complemented by high-capacity, high-throughput disk farms. Using innovative technology, these are networked together to provide users with a unified data space of hundreds of terabytes.
Our processing geophysicists have access to Intel Xeon QuadCore processors (1000 cores) of computing power including 24 CUDA capable Tesla GPUs for massively parallel processing (256 CPU cluster equivalent), which are linked by a 40Gb/s QDR InfiniBand switches with low-latency and each node has access to our total system disk capacity of nearly 200 terabytes of disk space.
An important element of our system design allows for remote access as an added efficiency and convenience for our staff and customers.
