High Resolution Scanning and Output
DDO provides high resolution scanning in black and white, grayscale or full colour.
Microfiche / Microfilm Services
We scan
microfiche / microfilm as well as all forms
of paper documents. Documents can be scanned
as sets or individually through our document
scanning and archival system and retrieved based
upon information entered during scanning. Currently
formats include TIFF IV and PDF. Scanned data
may be output to any other graphic format needed
by the client, such as Jpeg, etc.
Wide Image Scanning
DDO also
has the ability to scan wide images, Monochrome
maps up to 36´ and seismic sections. We
can also stripe and edit imaged sections.
Creating Sections from Stack Data
DDO has
the capability to create sections from stack
data. Sections up to 36´ in width
and unlimited in length can be produced.
Basic Data Scanning
Basic data
is scanned into digital format and mastered
to disk file. All images can be viewed with
off the shelf software and can be imbedded in
database software that supports Object Linking
and Embedding (OLE). This system lets us quickly
review documents for quality control or to design
scanning parameters. Document output is achieved
by interfacing directly with a laser printer,
plotter or online fax. Support documentation,
seismic sections, maps, well logs and blueprints
can be archived in a variety of formats after
being scanned by Direct Digital.
