Elvis Floreani, P.Geoph.
Elvis is President of Absolute Imaging and is responsible for the management of the company, strategic planning, and quality control, as well as being actively involved in business development both locally and internationally. Elvis’ initial years were spent with Kelman Seismic Processing Ltd. where his responsibilities progressed from Processing Geoscientist to Processing Supervisor and eventually to Processing Manager. In 1999 Elvis joined Arcis Corporation as Vice President Processing. Elvis is a founder of Absolute Imaging. Elvis is a graduate of the University of Alberta and is a member of APEGGA, SEG, DGS, CSEG and EAGE.
Vice President, Principal
Gerry is a Vice President and is responsible for computer hardware and software solutions and programming for Absolute Imaging. Gerry’s career began with Chevron Geosciences Canada as a seismic data processor and programmer. In 1994 Gerry left Chevron to help form Sensor Geophysical Ltd. where he pursued seismic data processing, writing code, as well as maintaining the infrastructure of the computer equipment. In 2002 Gerry established his own software development company, Jega Enterprises Inc. and consulted for various companies until 2007. Gerry is a founder of Absolute Imaging and is a member of the CSEG.
Vice President, Sales and Corporate Strategy
Mark is Vice President of Sales and Corporate Strategy and is responsible for business development, corporate strategy and building Absolute Imaging’s brand both domestically and Internationally. Mark has over 20 years of industry experience including 8 years at Seitel Canada as Senior VP of Sales and Marketing and Senior VP of Operations. Prior to his tenure at Seitel he was the Manager, Data Library with Arcis and worked as Senior Field Geophysicist with Schlumberger-WesternGeco. Mark has an Earth Sciences and a Geography degree from the University of Winnipeg and is currently pursuing his MBA at the London School of Economics. Mark is a member of the CSEG and SEG.
Robert is Absolute Imaging’s Chief Geophysicist and his primary role is to ensure best practices and efficient work flows for all seismic data processing projects. Robert’s responsibility includes the investigation of new technologies and their implementation. He is an experienced Processing Geoscientist with over 30 years of processing experience from many different basins around the world. He began his career as a Processing Geoscientist and has held various positions with Veritas, GecoPrakla, ESP, and Kelman Technologies where he eventually became the Processing Manager. Robert has a Bachelors degree in Geophysics and is a member of the CSEG.
Samo is Absolute Imaging’s Processing Manager and is responsible for the coordination and management of processing projects, technical support and some hands-on processing. Samo also assists with the development of new technologies as well as building Absolute Imaging’s brand both domestically and internationally. Samo has over 30 years of experience in both technical and managerial roles. He started his career as a Geophysicist with NIS Naftagas and has worked for Pulsonic, Pulsonic Nigeria, Kelman Technologies Inc., and Arcis Solutions. Samo has a M.Sc. in Geophysics from the University of Belgrade and is a member of the CSEG.
Manager, Marine Processing & Depth Imaging
Nick Nikic is Absolute Imaging’s Manager for Marine Processing & Depth Imaging and is responsible for coordinating and developing Absolute Imaging’s marine & depth imaging capabilities both domestically and internationally. Nick has over 30 years of experience in seismic data processing and depth imaging. Nick began his career at Gazprom in Serbia, before moving to Calgary in 1993 to join Pulsonic as a Processing Geophysicist. He worked at CGG as a Seismic Processing Manager, and then moved to Paradigm where he held various senior technical positions and spent time in Houston as a Senior Technical Sales Advisor. Nick has a Masters degree in Applied Geophysics from the University of Belgrade.
Manager, Business Development
Pat is Manager of Business Development and is responsible for providing strategic direction, coordination and execution of Absolute Imaging’s sales plan. Pat began his geophysical career as a seismic data processor with Western Geophysical and has held various positions including VP Geophysical Processing and VP Sales and Marketing with Veritas, Kelman Technologies, Fugro, and CGG. Pat has a B.Sc. from Queen’s University and is a member of the CSEG and SEG.
